Our main challenge with this upgrade was to present a fresh, contemporary new image, whilst - in order to keep the site familiar and comfortable to our primarily repeat customers - maintaining a high degree of consistency in terms of navigation and the way things work. A new colour scheme and graphical makeover was definitely in order, but, other than that, you'll find that things work much the same way as they've always done.
We regularly undertake minor site revisions behind the scenes, but find that, due to the rapid evolution of web technologies, a major, "clean slate" site revision is warranted periodically. In this instance - other than the new look - we anticipate that some significant changes "under the hood" will result in an even faster, more reliable and more secure site - oh, and we've also implemented a "live help" system which should help you to sort out many of your questions quickly and in real time.
