*** Which Colour Tights?***
Firstly, please note that tan coloured tights are generally considered to be jazz tights, and the various pink shades are worn for ballet.
Although a few teachers specify the exact brand/ colour shade of tights required (most brands are slightly different), both "Australian fleshtone pink" and "Pale pink" tights are common "ballet pinks" and both are generally suitable for ballet class or performance (although, strictly speaking, both are designed to be quite neutral in order to match common ballet shoe colours, and neither is especially "pink"). So, in most instances, either colour would suit ballet students, although "Australian fleshtone pink" appears to be the more popular class colour in Australia.
"Pale Pink" is a lighter colour shade - some brands refer to the paler shades as "Theatrical Pink" (as some dancers prefer paler tights for performance).
